eplan Lodgement and Registration

Need a subdivision lodged quickly? Eplan is the fastest way for subdivision plans & easement plans to be lodged and examined by the LPI NSW.

Electronic Lodgement via Eplan is LPI’s preferred method of plan lodgement. It streamlines the lodgement process and provides the quickest way to address changes required by LPI prior to registration.

Once the plan is approved by Council and you have your subdivision certificate the plan moves into the eplan lodgement phase.

We provide Signature Sheets to your solicitor to execute by having it signed by all interested parties, including yourself as the owners and any financial institutions with mortgages.

This is also the time to arrange with you bank or solicitor to have the Certificate of Title presented to the LPI. They will issue new Titles on registration of the subdivision.

An 88b Instrument may also require signatures if there are any Easements in your subdivision.

We have found that the plans are examined within 2 weeks of Eplan lodgement. If the LPI makes requisitions on the plans then it is a matter of dealing with these with either your solicitor or surveyor, depending on its nature. Many of these can be sorted out immediately. Then re-lodgement is once again prompt, and the plan, now already examined once, is usually registered within a matter of days.
