NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information (EISSI) Awards 2011
Chase Burke & Harvey entered the survey of the former HMAS Adelaide in the People and Community Category of the recent EISSI Awards.
The project, entitled “The Former HMAS Adelaide – a Unique Opportunity”, won not only the specific Category Award, but also the coveted Sir Thomas Mitchell Award.
The Sir Thomas Mitchell Award is the highest award conferred by the Institution of Surveyors NSW and the Association of Surveyors NSW and recognises the most outstanding overall project out of all Categories.
HMAS Adelaide
In recognition of an opportunity to engage the wider community and promote some of the important work that Surveyors do local firm Chase Burke & Harvey, under the direction of Mr Paul Hutcheon, Registered Surveyor, will survey the former HMAS Adelaide as she is scuttled off Avoca Beach on the Central Coast on Wednesday 13th April 2011.
